Hey guys I haven't really posted much on here. but anyways I'm 21 and I own a 2000 sport, 4.0, 8.25, aw4, 3in lift, and duratracs, great tire btw! my A/C hasn't worked right for a few years now and I've been reading up on oba systems, so I decided to go for it. I only spent just over ten bucks on the build haha. My dad works at an air pump plant and picks up all sorts of pneumatic stuff when they throw out/ recycle things and the other stuff i had laying around the house, so I really lucked out! I used the existing hose off the compressor so I didn't have to get a special one made. My compressor is greased and the intake t's into the air filter. The pressure switch is set at 95/125. My tank is only 1 gallon right now but I'm going to look for a 2.5 soon, it fills that sucker up in 7 seconds right now though! This is by far the coolest thing on my xj at the moment.. If anyone has questions let me know!

I got the idea for the intake from a write up on jp magazines site. It seems to be working great so far. The compressor comes apart by removing the clutch first and the 8 10mm bolts that hold the pulley assembly on, then there are 6 13mm bolts on the back. If you go greased you must plug a hole in the rear so the grease doesn't get into your air. Look up greased sanden on google and you can find a lot of info on it, the s10 guys do this I guess haha.
