motor swap
i have an 87 cherokee that needs a motor. i plan on using a 92 motor. will that work? how? and any pointers. im using an auto trans. and both are 4x4. the red jeep in my pic is the 92. the white is the 87..

Piece of cake. Swap dizzy, flywheel. Use your intake and sensors. Use the intake/exhaust gasket for your 87. Any other questions, post them up. I've done this a coupla times.

Remember to install your CTS into the new block before installing it. Much easier!!

Just make sure you get the plug out of the coolant galley on the driver's side for the CTS BEFORE installing it. 5/16" square drive.

Keep your ECU, sensors, dizzy, flywheel/flexplate, intake and exhaust.
