With a 3" lift, you can run 31s with little to no trimming. Sometimes lift settle a bit differently. I am running a 3.5" lift from RE and fit 31s perfectly.
You will probably want an adjustable track bar. When you lift the vehicle, the axle will be pulled off center. The adjustable track bar will allow you to re-center the axle.
If you have driveline vibes, you will need to address this with a tc drop or SYE.
You won't need an extended front driveshaft. If you need an SYE, a stock front ds can be used in the rear in most cases.
