Most people with that setup can't run anything above a 4" back spacing without the tire rubbing the control arm. I'm running 3.5" back spacing with 33x12.5 with a long arm with no rubbing but when I had my rims with 4.5" back spacing they rub the control arm.

i have question on back spacing too. im trying to decide if i should get 15x10 wheels with 3.75 or 4.0 back spacing. from what i was told the lower the back spacing number the more the tires stick out. here is my set up going to be 7.5" long arm and 35" tires. i want the tires to stick out but not rubbing on the long arm. 3.75 or 4.0 back spacing???

You need from 3 3/4" to 4" max for the correct fitment the those two BS's are what are offered from different brands of wheels so no less than 3 3/4" or more than 4".
A poor choice IMHO but some have used wheel spacers as a band aid, I personally would not do so.
I have 3 3/4" BS with my Cragar Soft Eights on my XJ and my son has 4" of BS on his Steel 15x8" D-Window Jegs brand wheels, hard to tell the difference. Neither of them have any issues with rubbing his with stock LCA's and a 3" lift, I started with a 3" lift and stock LCA's also with my 3 3/4" BS and no issues either. Hope this helps a little.

Thank you guys for all of your help. I think I'm gonna have to go with a small wheel spacer so that I don't rub and I hope that will fix the problem. What if I weld the wheel spacer to the rim would any think good or bad idea? Just something I thought of

Use Loctite on the threads for the spacer and torque properly. Retorque after driving 50-100 miles and each time you rotate tires/change oil/or just have the wheels off.

Thanks so much man. I'm looking get a small spacer 15mm witch is about 1/2" any specific brand or info and are these a better option then the bigger ones. I really didn't want to go this way but now I'm forced to. Just trying to fix this problem the best Posable way. Thanks guys

If you plan on wheeling it at all and airing down do not get a 10" wheel. It will limit the amount you can air down and increase your chances of popping a bead. I ran 15x10s with 35x12.50 and popped beads at 15psi. With 8" wheels I could go as low as 8psi. You also don't need 7.5" of lift unless you like being top heavy. I'm at 6" running 38s and hate how tall it is and plan on lowering it when I'm not feeling quite so lazy. Off camber hills can be scary that tall.

yes i plan to off road after the lift. the only reason im sticking with 7.5 lift cuz my buddy sold his lift to me for cheap. he needs the money. for $1k im getting regear and lockers in front/rear axles, usa alloy chromoly axles, front wj brake swap, rear zj disc, 4.5 rubicon express leaf, iron adjustable shackles, rustys steering with heim joint, 7.5 rubicon express coil. im not going to go crazy on trails. i'll probably air down to 20 psi on the 35".

They seem to bite well but could I be doing I do doing better, from all I have read the common psi seem to be to go to the 10 psi is using bead locks or run the very real problem of loosing a tire. Have you had any problems going with psi and how hard do you wheel, thanks for your input.
Old inquiring minds want too know lol.

Interesting on my 15x8" Cragar Soft Eights running 33x12:50's I hesitate going much below 15-17 psi for fear of popping one off the bead, am I too concretive perhaps?
