ya after lookin at pirate, im just wonderin if its worth it to do all of this to the D44 i would be gettin

 

The only good thing is you will be set up for when you want to go to a 60. Or you can find a 60 out of a 97 Ram like me. $150 had to do some looking but I wasn't going to pay 300 for a 44. Ram 60's have the biggest shafts of any other 60 and mine has 30 spline.
