now my second questions is a lift related one. im getting 33ich tires now im re using my 87 3ich lift. i dont have to modified anything by being a 96? any advice?

Lift will be fine. The 2wd tranny will need a lot of work, new tail shaft to start with, to bolt a t-case to it. Better to find a 4wd tranny. You may get the 87 model one to work but you'll be swapping out all the sensors.

I don't mind the extra work this is gonna be a long project. Just gonna lift it and leave it 2wd. Till I get all the nice toys and make it 4wd But thank you for the advice
