Ill second rons. Thats also where i got my gears bearing kits and then 3rd set of gears cause ya know atleast one turns into a practice go..
If going to stay on 31s i think i might just get bearing and seals and refresh current gears and wait till on 33s to go 4.56 or even possibly 4.88.
Id hate for you to go 4.10 then 4 months from now be 35s wishin for 4.88s

I really don't have any intention of going with bigger tires. If I ever get this xj on the road it'll be street use for me. In 2 years it's gotten a different motor and rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, t-case rebuilt with sye, 3.5" lift.

No idea on elite gears. But since Rons pushing them im sure theyre just fine as good the rest.
Some dirt tires sized 31s with sliders tcase skid and the like will out shine a 6" lifted pos jeep everyvwhere that's on 35s and cant even hardly steer down the trail and is a literal death machine on the street. Thats like 99.9% of xjs out there
