Default looking for new axles

long story short i need 2 new axles either way. but im thinking of upgrading from my current 31s to bigger. like 35-37, eventually. what would you recomend and how much am i looking. any ideas would help

and i heard about this from a friend, any comments?

Newer model axles, HP D30 with the bigger joints and 8.25 with 29 spline shafts, would be OK with 35s but with 37s you'll need something a bit bigger. Plan on a minimum of 3k to put bigger axle in and that's if you know how to weld and fab.

dont bother with the D30 RCV's either. chromos and decent ujoints will hold up well to 35's and a smart foot
