what do you mean? are you thinking a mid length upper that mounts to the stock upper control arm frame mount?

a well designed radius arm 4 link setup has the upper arms mounted to the lower arms in the best location for both clearance and full cycle movement while keeping the castor best inline.

no a mid length upper mounted to a new welded on mount , would be lower then the stock upper mount , but farther back. so the new uca would be about 6" longer then the stock uca

it would use the stock mounting hole on top of the pumpkin, only the uca frame mounts would move down & back on the frame . maybe this just crazy talk ?

I'm not seeing the difference between this and a 4 link long arm kit, like the ones from Full Traction and BDS. Those kits have full length long arm lowers with longer than stock "mid length" uppers, with all arms connecting to a aftermarket cross member. But then again, maybe I'm not understanding the concept..
