Yup, not sure what sales pitch some people are
Thinking they seeing, but appreciate you trying to become a vendor and sharing knowledge. People don't realize how important vendors are on forums. Best way for us to find out Bout new products, updates, and get great deals sometimes.

I am torn between the two myself. Lokka is cheaper, but Aussie is closer, a reasonable 3 1/2 hour drive if I had a passport. Delivery times would be about the same too I think. It seems every time I order something from south of the Canadian border it take a couple weeks to arrive. I know that is not Aussie's fault, it is like Canada Post and USPS don't get along very well

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm realizing quickly that there is a very thin line between Information Only and perceived Sales pitch. Here I thought I was being efficient by copy and pasting, but now I see that could be considered spammy.
I've been shopping around, comparing forums for their Vendor benefits, cost and hits per month. While Cherokee Forum isn't the largest forum, I'm finding some of the best engagement and content here.
We're working on a new line of lockers and would love to get feedback on these and other new products in development. Also, if you have a new idea and want to make prototypes or test products, we have a world class CNC facility to work with.

I've got an Aussie locker in my front HP Dana 30, and it has worked great on the trails. I like seeing the company active on the forum in case I ever have any issues, I can just ask them directly. I like when companies engage their customers like this, we get to give them feedback, and they can then improve the product if need be. No complaints here.

Cora, thank you for trying to bring useful information to the forum. Some of us appreciate that. I find it appalling that some of the members here have ignored that fact...you have been professional, courteous and I didn't take any of what you said as a sales pitch.
Here's the bottom line folks. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Price too high for your blood? Keep your wallet closed then. I personally would feel better about spending the extra money, and know I'm getting at LEAST better customer support, by having a rep for a company willing to give facts and answer questions, active in our community.

The post below in this thread and the one i posted below it that I replied to in another thread here were copy and paste selling and not assisting, Cora has acknowledged this and I will admit I was a bit rough on her and apologize for that.
Most forums are pretty quick to jump on Non-Vendors for pitching their products in every thread.
I agree having active Vendors answering questions and helping users is GREAT, I look at folks like Frank at Serious and other similar active vendors and really appreciate their input.
But just going to every thread going "Shop us we are the best" is what I was trying to stop.
Again i apologize if I offended anyone or spoke out of place.

The name was protected, OK sure. But this thread was specifically about the Lokka. Very sales pitchy to me also.
Also how long does it take to get vendor status? Seen posts on other forums, including a local forum claiming the same thing, however I know for certain we were never contacted about being a site vendor.

Vendor status is takes a week or two, we are in the last steps with Amanda from Internet Brands for the Cherokee Forum.
Which forum are you referring to outkast? I've been working on Vendor status with NAXJA, Jeep Forum and Wrangler Forum. We have Gold Star status with Pirate and will add a gold star on JK Forum.

Looking forward having Cora and Aussie more involved here, as a vendor would be even better. I see nothing but courteous responses to several locker threads and there is obviously a ton of confusion around who's who.

Keep us posted on the new ones you have coming out. I like lunchbox lockers but haven't had luck with the last couple I've had, Lockright and Spartan, so I'm up for trying something new. I ran Aussies in the past but they were the older version not what you have now. They worked good though. I'm looking for something that doesn't limit tire size and will hold up to the rocks I wheel in most of the time. Mine isn't a daily driver like most on here and I could care less if it's loud.

I can personally attest to Cora and Aussie Lockers customer service. I recently put Aussies front & rear on Ol'Moldy and thought I had a problem with the front one trying to lock on tight turns. The front one I had purchased used from a Craigslist ad, the rear new from Aussie. I called Aussie and explained the problem, they were more than willing to help and provide tech support, advice, ideas even though I had purchased the front one used. After several tests, we found the problem was in the transfer case, not the locker. I had several conversations with Cora on the perceived locker problem and she was always patient, courteous, and helpful. I think it fantastic they are going to be a vendor as they will be a great addition to our forum! Welcome!

i don't know.. i didn't see a sales pitch from cora. i see a company making sure members are informed that the two lockers are not the same thing as some believe.
i know its information i would want when making a decision on what to buy.
