I ordered a track bar from them at the end of december and it took them over a month to ship it. Plus the lockers are cheeper on aussies website. As for front or rear, i would say rear. Thats what most people do and thats what im gona do. Im actually looking to get an aussie too.
I ordered a track bar from motion offroad and it was here in a week.

Lucky SOB! Ive read good and bad reviews about them. I do know that they take Rough country parts and put there name on them and sell them as there own.

Snow is the big question if your in Texas i wouldn't think you ever have to worie about it. But if you have a lunch box locker in the front in snow it is almost impossible to turn. this could result in serous injury or death so i would recomand against it.

I have spartan locker in my front and love it. We had about 6in of snow last week and I had no troubles turning in it. Now my rear is welded and in the snow that was a different story it slid all over the place when turning in 2wd in 4wd I went where ever I wanted with out slipping and sliding

Same for me, we get lots of snow in Utah, It will "slide" a tiny bit more but you just can't hammer down, you have to be more smooth between transitions of speed/direction. But I have never had issues in the snow. When ever you modify your vehicle you have to "adjust" for the difference with your driving habits. wasn't a big deal at all.

With a rear Locker I have only needed 4WD 2-3 times per winter. Being locked in the rear makes you be able to continue past the limits of an open diff in the snow... I don;t need 4WD unless its a steep hill or more then about 8" of snow.
