ive got a 3 inch rc lift already installed,and ive ordered me some 31x10.5 r16's and im a little confused on what backspacing i need to use. ive looked all over google on info about it,but none of it has helped at all. but im set on my wheels,some cragar soft 8's, and the last thing i need to determine is the bs i need. it seems to e that the higher backspacing you go,the closer the wheels tuck under the fender. is this right? or am i thinking wrong? any help would be GREATLY appreciated. and if anybody has any pics of there wheels tires with adequate backspacing those would help too....ive already trimmed and my tires sticking out doesnt really bother me either.

Backspacing is measured from the back of the lug surface to the back of the rim. The higher the number the less it sticks out from under your rig.

for your application, 4.5 inch bs should fit nice. (3.75 for a 12.5 wide tire)
