Which is the best choice for lockers for a 01 cherokee with d30 and chrysler 8.25 running 355 ratio, looking for something that will work well on-road during the Wisconsin winters and be good for trail riding, no big mud or rocks

I have a Detroit automatic locker in my front D30, they're 10 times better than a lunchbox, but only $350 or so...it works great, the second you so much as think of slipping a tire, im spinning both and crawling up whatever it was haha, and that's with 35's on the puny little 30...HOWEVER, a lunchbox locker sounds like a good way to go for moderate trails and decent sized tires (31's/32's)

I have what might be a dumb question but with my arb lockers once I lock them in I don't need the compressor on right

ARB compressors cycle on and off based on the pressure switch.
