Long story short. Bought a locker for a d35. Ridiculously cheap. ($17 to be exact) and need help identifying it. Any help would be great.

 

 

 

It's toast, The teeth are worn, it will slip if you try to use it. Looks like a Lock-rite for a c-clip style rearend.

That's what I was curious on. One side looked kinda rugged.

 

Looks like either a lockright or a Detroit EX locker. Either way it's done and would be a waste of time to install.

 

Looks like a $17 paper weight.
Don't bother installing it.

 

The chipped teeth are a no go, but the teeth being rounded off a little bit are not a problem. The way these lunchbox lockers work is by pushing out on the cam with the center pin. It doesn't take much "teeth" to engage. When there is torque applied to the diff and its pushing out on the gears it's going to take a ton more wear than that to not work. At low torque application however it could fail to engage.
