locker help please
I know I know it's been asked 1,000,000 times but I can't find it (search sucks) anyway I'm ready to pull the trigger on a rear locker, can someone please point me at a cheap rear locker, the Jeep is road driven sometimes (a lot in winter) and I wan't it to be street-able as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

What axle you have will determine what's available. I like lunchbox lockers for the price, Aussies and Spartans but have broken lockrights and don't care for them, but in wet and snowy weather they can be a little tricky if you aren't used to them. Guessing it's for the 98 and if it has a 8.25 you only have one option for lunchbox lockers and it's the lockright. The others only make them for the 27 spline versions. If you have a D35 save your money and get a different axle and lock it.

I take back what I said you can get a Spartan for a 29 spline 8.25. Complete Offroad has them. I run one in the front of mine and love it.

no ratcheting or other noise. I was a little afraid to put it in my self at the time but it wasnt too hard to install. just make sure you grind down the
C clip a little bit so it goes in and out freely.
I would go with the power trax. you wont be disipointed.

I went wheelin' last nite and just couldn't stand having an open rear diff, my Chevy came with a factory locker that actually works quite well and I got spoiled.
