Im looking at the led light bars from olympus and Im wondering a few things about mounting locations and such. First of all, I want to get a large light for the front of the jeep and a smaller one for the rear for reverse lights. Im thinking at least a 20" one for the front, maybe 30. and 10 or 6" for the rear. For the front were would be best to mount it? Ive heard of light reflecting off the hood from up top, but I wouldn't think that would be a big deal. And as far as the rear goes, is there any big difference between their 10" and 6" light bars?

It's a 98, so it might be a bit harder to fit something in there. That's a good idea though, light up the road pretty well?

I cannot believe how bright they are! The headlights barely have any effect if the leds are on. If you're mounting them above the hood and are worried about reflection look at the spot beam pattern. I went with floods because most of the time wheeling I'm going pretty slow.

Yeah, for the front I'm hoping to get a combo so I can use the fogs for well, fog and wheeling, then spot lights or driving lights for the country roads we have out here

My only thought on that is wouldn't you want a spot aimed differently than a flood?

Something I haven't considered. Good point. Anyone else have any thoughts on that?

Yep, little 3/4" led lights. I have them wired to work both as marker lights and blinkers. Keep an eye open in the next couple days or so, I'll take some better pics and post them up for others to see and get the idea. I'm really happy with how they came out, nice clean fit.

Typical bureaucratic bs.

Is the glare on your hood bad? I've been wanting to do something similar, but don't know if the glare would drive me nuts.
