Default KC Hilights

my headlights suck to begin with so i want to get some off road lights, i plan on getting these http://www.quadratec.com/products/97030_1X_PG.htm but i dont know how to wire them and if the driving lights are better

or these lights http://www.quadratec.com/products/97029_00.htm

I recommend starting off improving your headlights. Upgrade your headlight wiring harness with something like LMC truck part# 36-3580 $29.95($40 ups to your front door). this can be used with regular headlights and you should be amazed at the improvement. Off-road light are not going to help you on the street.

im not worried about upgrading my headlights

i want to go with the rectangle shaped lights, i think the look better but i've never seen then on a Cherokee post back what you think ROUND OR RECTANGLE for the front bumper

I personally prefer the rectangle lights on the bumper since the headlights and the Cherokee are square to begin with. I have the cheap-o Navigator lights that a LOT of people have because they are awesome for the price, KCs are gonna be better of course lol. Also, attaching a wiring diagram for you.

I would have to second the upgrading of headlights first though. I have the LMC harness and it makes a big difference. I accidentally broke a headlight so I have my stock sealed beams running off the harness and even that is hugely noticeable. Better housings and nice H4 bulbs + the harness = wowzers bright!

You also asked about beam pattern. Long range lights are very specific to off-road use. I'd go with fog or driving lights. Attached is a diagram of beam patterns.

my brother has the kc long range hilights , i like the beam pattern they throw out but personal i dont like the look of them, im gonna save up enough money for the kc 69 series long range. and deffently looking into new wireing for the head lights when i get a chance
