Look what showed up a day early! I can't wait to put them on. I'm gonna get a Zagg and put that on before I install them on my Jeep.

You're going to love them! Once you hold them in your hand you can see how high quality these lights are.

I've used them in the fog. They are alright but nothing stellar. I think for heavy fog it might be nice to have a lightbar or something else as a backup. Still, they perform better than factory headlamps in the fog, I'll say that much.

An unexpectedly shortened staff at work delayed the pictures I promised but here they are.

Pictures were taken with an iPhone but I used the AF/AV lock to maintain the level of brightness between each picture.

Here is the passenger side lamp upclose with lowbeam on:

TruckLiteLED High beams:

LED's on LowBeam. Notice the bright spots on either side of the chair and the scattered cutoff line (or lack thereof)

LowBeam without the chair in-cab:

TruckLite High Beam. Notice they're brighter but there isn't much change in coverage for the area of light.

TruckLite High Beam in the Cab:

OK, now for the fun part. I swapped out the passenger side LED for the HID I had in before I attempted this "upgrade."
It looks like my XJ is winking:

LED low beam on the left, HID low beam on the right. Notice the difference in area coverage.

LED High beam on the left, HID high beam on the right.

My HID High Beams: (They still need to go a little lower, I think, but you can see the difference in cutoff lines and area of brightness).

I just saw this referenced on Facebook--and wow! That's quite a difference. Those look like 4300K, which is definitely what I'd get if I were to go HID.

And with the stock lights you can't even see the garage.

Definitely confirmed my suspicion that HID would still beat out the LED in terms of brightness. I'm going to stick with my original plans of an open beam housing with bi-xenon HIDs.

The LED definitely has it's advantages with life longevity and low power draw, but HID is tried and true.

I think its not so much the LED vs HID but the fact that the Truck-Lites are reflector and HIDs (other than the stupid useless ricer blinding ones) are projector lenses.
