Default Junkyard mods.

I'm looking into upgrading my xj interior to make it a little nicer. I'm wanting new front seats. From what I understand seats from a wj will be a direct bolt in if I put my xj seat frame on them. How hard is this job? Also is a zj shifter a direct swap?

The WJ shifter is after you shorten the metal rod down some.

ZJ seats, bolted onto stock XJ sliders. Direct fit, only 4 bolts.

1000x yes. Just did the swap myself. They sit a bit higher and I actually like that. It felt like I upgraded my suspension by putting these in.

Make sure you get the 6-way adjustable or full manual. If you get 10-way you'll need to wire in power for the recline like I did. Not that hard really. Just something to think about.

Maybe gas struts and ball mounts for the 'hood lift' modification. Lifts and holds open the hood.

is 29 a piece a good price for seats at a u pull it? I plan on taking off the wj tracks in the yard and leaving them so i can get them as cheap as possible and they wont be as heavy.

I also paid $29 each for seats with tracks. Then sold the tracks on e-bay for $30 each.
