Default Junkyard lift, help anyone?

I have a few questions and any advice would be welcome!
But first off, dont tell me to go buy a "real" lift, this is the way I wanna do and the way in going to do it. Now with that out of the way...

1. I cant seem to find it for the life of me, but I once saw a thread with everything you need to do your own junk yard lift.

2. Anyone who has done with before, any advice? Do's and dont's?

3. Any ideas on how to get the leaf spring off at the junk yard? Cause every way that I think to do it isn't safe at all. haha

4. Anyone with a 98+ with a 3-4 inch lift with NP231 transfer case, and an 8.25 rear axle, Dana 35 front have any vibes at all or anything like that?

Thanks for the help in advance,
- Zack

I also have a 97+ Xj and Im doing the same thing as you, so far ive got:

Leaf springs with a 3inch AAL installed.
3 inch skyjacker coil springs
Rough Country rear brake lines that are longer
RC 3inch wide Ubolts for a chrysler 8.25
RC T-case drop
JK wrangler shocks

I got all these parts from memebers on this and other JEEP froums. If you look around for used parts you will find great deals from guys who are upgrading. Im sure i will need new bolts for the shocks because everyone says they snap ha but im not sure what size. If anyone can help me out too i would appreciate it.

BPE= Bar Pin Eliminator

The rear shocks use a bar pin on the top mounting point. Search "Bar Pin Eliminator" on this forum and you will find a wealth of knowledge and opinions.

Here is a good site to show you leafsprings and hardware, It is cheaper to buy new ones and add one from old sent if you want. Start spraying all the bolts and nuts with WD40 way before hand so you don't stat breaking

Dont use WD40, use PB plaster or my favorite GM heat valve lubricant. Since your in OH, expect to break the upper shock bolts.
