A guy in our local club has the winch bumper & it bolts to the XJ with 7 bolts per side.

Hell of a deal.

not really wanting a winch bumper - i may use a winch twice a year so i dont want the extra weight and reduced aproach angle. this is a DD so lighter is better. the only other bumper i kind of like is the rigid - BUT - iv already made up my mind -

i got the c-rock rear bumper because it was solid. the sides did not bolt on, they wr welded on, and let me tell you, that bumper is tuff and made top notch, i dont see how there could be a more solid well built bumper than the c-rock. i went back and forth on the cutaway thing but what ultimatly sold me was that i could leave the sheetmetal as is, i felt cut and folding hindered its strenght, and the rear c-rock is a solid one piece bumper that looks like it can take the abuse easily. ill do a wright up here shortly on both bupers.

now just trying to decide on some flush mount led lights.

I ordered my bumpers from dirt bound Max was super helpful and gave us military guys the best discount. I am installing them as soon as I can get the darn box unpacked! I wish I would have ordered them sooner, btw Max my wife likes your bumpers better than JCR the price had nothing to do with it! You beat the competition in ♠

i am VERY happy with both Dirtbound and C-rok. both have great products and great service.

my only complaints spacific to dirt bound is i wish the outside horns on the buper wr reinforced a little better so i could use a hi-lift jack on them, and also one of he welds was to hot and shows some distortion thru on the other side - and it just happens to be the top of the bumper.

my complaint that deals with both bumpers is that the d-ring tabs are a little thinner than i care for. sure they are beefie and i have no doubt they will hold up but on other bumpers they are thick enough that the shackel doesnt wobble around.

i would buy both bumpers again no doubt - i would just ask them to make the tabs a little thicker -
