Yes. Driveshaft came with new joints and a nice new coat of paint. The instal takes a bit of time, but its really not too bad at all

my buddy broke his. it's not a full sye. but I'd assume it's fine for around 30" tires
if you're planning on 33's or bigger I wouldnt get it

Having seen the IRO guys wheel their stuff, and talked to the guy there that runs 37's on his XJ with the Hack and tap, I'm perfectly confident in it holding up to my 285's and aggressive driving style.

I've had mine for a little while now and it has held up well so far (knock on wood) I beat on it pretty good and I'm running 33s.

When installed "properly" I dont see how anyone could possibly have any issues with it.

Ive seen guys on pirate with v8's and 44's... Even a dude with 46's... They havent broke theirs... If installed properly they will hold up just as strong as a sye... Trail tested and proven...

I installed one a few months back. Works great for me. I don't think tire size has anything to do with it working or not. I dont know what it is that people are saying is suppose to break in this setup. No vibes no rattles either.

I would really like to hear what broke...especially considering the posts following this statement you made....

I would actually prefer the HnT. If a tcase explodes you can usually reuse the HnT. With a traditional SYE you run the risk of destroying needed parts, and then you are also buying another SYE.

I dont blame tire size on my trans exploding. That was destined to fail, poorly designed by the French.

its only as strong as the stock output.

heavy duty replacement sye's arent all that expensive. mine has survived 3 transfer cases, 4 jeeps, 6 years of use, over 150k miles. and its still going.

All this is true , I agree. But what breaks with this setup? The driveshaft itself, the yoke supplied by IRO or the stock output shaft? I am just wondering.
