Haha. My vote (and maybe we need a voting thread?) is for HnT. Your buddy, atmos, I wonder if his HnT was installed properly? Also, a "new" front shaft, a cv shaft, was 85 bucks from the JY. It's held up for about a year now without issue... Cheap and easy!!

 

I got the HNT because I knew I could handle the install by myself. Which I was not sure about with the SYE. I think I could handle it but I did not want to open the tcase and put something together halfa#$ed. One think they dont mention in the instructions is that depending on your lift size you might have to trim the yoke where it goes onto the output shaft so mock it up first. As far as the cost it really isnt that much more to get the SYE if you are talking just the SYE without the dshaft. I think you could also use a front dshaft when using the SYE so the actuall cost of that is only about $70 extra. Its the custom driveshaft that makes the whole setup so much more expensive.

 

I would say it really depends on what your going to do with the rig. I never plan on going bigger than 285's so I feel completely confident in running a HnT, I should be ordering mine in the next 2 weeks. Being able to run a front shaft in the rear is a HUGE bennefit!
