I was just wondering if anyone knows how good Iron Rock brand lift kits are? People tell me that the store sells other brands of lift kits but I'm just looking at the 5.5" LA lift that Iron Rock themselves make. Anyone have one of their lifts? How good are they? I understand they are good to deal with as a store, I was just wondering about their particular lift. Thanks for the help!

Love my iron rock coils. If you have enough lift you don't need a t case skid or underbelly shovel lol.

Does anyone know whats up with their long arm set up? The one arm has a Y- shape to it with an adjuster on the end that people seem unsure of. Does anyone know the reason?

some of the stuff they sell is RC. the stuff fabbed is IRO. I got there long arm upgrade and sye with front driveshaft and love them both. great customer support and the long arm kit went on perfect with super easy caster adjustment.

+1 for IRO although when you go with the 3-link, you might want to consider a solid upper bushing. The axle tends to crush that single upper bushing under heavy braking. I plan to change over the a currie JJ when I get a moment. Other than that I love the system. I've needed to drop my transmission twice and the modular cross member makes that a dream; no joke.

From my experience IRO has some really great quality stuff. I had their 3.5" lift for my ZJ and never had a problem with it. Everything was top notch and it even still rode decent afterwards. I've never had to deal with their customer service department, but like you have heard they are great. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again!

Its like that because its not a 3-link its a radius arm setup. It has a single control arm on one side and a radius arm on the other side.

^ hmm... that's off. Mine isn't. sure you didn't get any transmission fluid on it? I've scratched mine in a FEW places and it doesn't seem to want to flake.

Another satisified IRO customer here. Have their LA set up, and LOVE it. Customer service is top-notch as well.
