Inverted Leaf Springs
Is it worth trying a bastard pack for 3" of lift if my original Leaves are inverted or should I just buy BNIB 3" lift springs?

I recently made a bastard pack using the S10 springs and then I added a new Dorman top leaf and bushings. I got more lift than I anticipated but wanted the increased cargo capacity more than lift. If you want the lift, buy the leafs you want, I wound up spending less than a new 3" leaf would cost but more than anticipated and got about 3 1/4".

^^^ this. Don't waste your time with a bastard pack. You'll regret it very quickly if you do. Do it right the first time.

Where is the best place to get a good deal on Springs? Some places seem to price these things like antique clocks. Anyone know a good website that's trying to move old XJ parts?
When I bought the XJ it came with a RC 3" AAL BNIB.

Rustys Off Road his leafs and coils are all made in NA and VG quality. A full entry level lift with full leafs/coils/shocks/hardware is about $450 all which are need for a 3" lift.
