Default 2" leaf spring recommendations please

Cant really find anything on this as everyone that goes 2" does AAL; my springs are shot, so I need all new.

Going with 2" cause it is mostly a daily and will never see hardcore offroading and I dont want all the troubles and mods that come with 3"+. Although I would love the extra clearance.

Still deciding on the front. Prob just isolators, but prob couldn't hurt to just go ahead and replace.

Appreciate any help.

A 3" lift is very doable without any issues or extra parts other than an adj track bar and possibly a TC drop kit. Other than those 2 items you can get by with an entry level 3" full leaf/coil, shock, hardware pkg. An example of that would be a Rustys 3" lift cost about $440 or so avoid the RC kits.

Go to Rustys Off Road to see all the lifts and the RC is known for issues with leafs and coils sagging along with other problems.

Another option for you is to install some stock replacement leaf springs and add a lift like one of these:

All you need is an entry level kit the one I for the price I posted all the other items aren't needed except for the things I stated in my first post.

I ran this kit for about 1 1/2 yrs. till I increased my lift using the same leafs, coils to do so then added a lot of extra's at that time that were required. Stock control arm are fine with a 3 " lift and tires clear just fine with the proper wheel a cheap 15x8" with 3.75-4" of BS for a 31x10:50-33x12:50 tire.

The best part of the entry level kit is you can add to them with quality extras as you so along or the need arises but still have a 3" lift to start with. and all the basic's needed.

Looks like its $479 now and in stock on May 8th it is one of their best sellers.

I was going to add that extended brake lines are not required with a 3" lift all you need to do is drop the clamp down lower and your good to go.
