Intermittent Wipers and Cruise Control
My 1987 Jeep Comanche (yes I know this is the Cherokee part of the forum, but figured this stuff is the same for both and would probably get more views here) is a base model as in no power features and no fancy gadgets. I installed the headlight delay module, installed the headlight buzzer, and now what is bothering me is the wipers are either off or way too fast. I want the intermittent wipers. A quick search showed that Cherokees/ Comanches did have it as an option. I did some more googling and it appears that the stalk with the wiper delay also has cruise control. If I could get a stalk without cruise control I would be fine with that as well, but if they all have cruise control on them, then I will want to make it work since it is on the stalk. So here's the question. Can I get a wiper stalk without cruise control? If so, I assume I will have to tear down the column and install the switch and the module for the delay. If I need to get one with both delay and cruise control, what all will be needed to install cruise control or will it even be possible since I have the 99+ intake on the Comanche. Any and all info is much appreciated. I will also continue to do my own googling and post here if I discover anything new.

Cruise was not a necessary accessory to have with intermittent wipers.

Does anyone know what the part number is for the switch with a non tilt column? Also, since the column is the same as a lot of GMs can I get it out of one of those? It's been raining here a lot and it's driving me crazy. I haven't seen one in the junkyards yet and trust me I've been looking. If I can figure out the part numbers I can order at least the switch new and get the intermittent module from a tilt column Jeep or whatever at the junkyard.
