Hello...first off...this forum Rocks!!

We bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 ..4 door...

We dont have alot of money to work on it so I have been looking for ebay and junk yards for answers and having a hard time...

Our Jeep has very high miles for a 2001, almost 300,000 ...and lots of rust underneath!!

I am needing to replace the rear bumper ...

Are any other jeeps interchangeable with this model?

I also will be looking for rear wiper arm and other odds and ends...

97 I think through 2001 should as far as the bumper and wiper parts.

 

Not sure what the bumper runs at a jy, but I found a few for ~$80 online. Includes the brackets, bumper, and end caps... not a bad deal if you want to stay stock.

 

Like already stated..97+ will be the same...unsure on the wipers but im sure 97+ are the same. Not a bad looking rig, and as far as the mileage goes...there are 4.0's out there with 500k on em..maintain em and they never stop!

 

Thank you for your help...I found a Grand Cherokee on craigs list they are parting out a few hours from me... so thats where I may get the bumper if it does fit my Sport...

I seen some online but after you pay shipping costs its running me the same as driving to get one

 

Haha, the GC bumpers are big plastic things... No way it would fit, let alone look good...

 

When I said 97+ would fit I meant 97+ from a Cherokee...

 

Ya...I was looking that over again..it wont look good at all... wont be getting that... wiper arm should work though...

 

so not Grand Cherokee's...but which ones?? Just the Sports?

 

Any XJ, whether it be sport or not, keep in mind that some packages included color keyed bumpers (limited & country I think) so they may need a quick coat of paint to look right.
