I am looking to do the same eventually. Won't Neon or 5.0 Mustang injectors work also?

It depends on a few more factors. Can't just throw injectors in all *****-nilly.

The only reply I get is that there is more to it then just changing the injectors . All I was asking is witch injectors are the same as the oem injectors so I can change the I'm not changing any thing else and yes it is that simple if you get the right injectors . I don't want bigger injectors because that will change things .

All you need to do is change injectors, but with the proper ones.

Be careful of ebay sellers' claims.

contact jhc7399 here on CF and see what he recommends and supplies.

Injector knowledge below. I used the ford injectors years ago when it was the in thing, still work and same gas mileage as stock ones.

Here are the stock specs for XJ's.
http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/tech_specs.html

Here are flow rates by Bosch #, scroll down to number needed.
http://www.fuelinjector.citymaker.co...low_Rates.html

The following is pretty much what most go by when replacing Jeep injectors.

87-90 4.0 - Bosch 0280155746, from Volvo's.

91-98 4.0 - Bosch 0280155703 from late 90's dodge Neons and few others. Some people use Bosch 0280155710/0280155700, From old Ford V-8's if I remember correctly.

99-04 4.0 - Bosch 0280155784 from late 90'sand early 2000 Dodges Neons as well.

The 703 and 784 have a different plug, same injector.
