Default injector / manifold combo

i know there is a million threads on both injector upgrades and the high flow 99+ intake manifold. but im looking for information on how they work together. i got impulsive and patched together enough information to figure out that the for #24 4 pintle injectors, could work in a 99+ manifold if i used the fuel rail off of something like a 91.
havent gotten to try it yet, but does this seem like a sound theory? anyone see some big mess up in my thinking?

I did the intake, Neon injectors, higher pressure regulator, APN header and bored throttle body all around the same time and it was a huge improvement. So much that I put off my re-gear. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The pressure regulator was off another Chrysler product I just happened to come across in the JY. It had the correct numbers and I verified it with a gauge after it was all installed.

I just did the 99+ intake and APN header when mine broke somehow, why replace when you can upgrade. I just used all stock stuff on my 95 intake on the 99+ intake, plus the 99+ ps pump stuff and it works great

so you were able to just swap out the intake and leave everything else other than the power steering pump stock?

^ yup, just changed intake, PS pump and the brackets for the PS pump. You have to do alittle massaging to get the vacuum lines and whatnot to work but yea no biggy. I heard sometimes there are clearance issues between intake and exhaust but i didnt have any issues.

I dont know if you guys saw my thread...but I bore out the restriction under the plate of throttle bodies....making it about 60MM all the way thru if interested. Seems to really help, especially if the exhaust is opened up already.
