i installed a slip yoke elimator in a 2000 cherokee for a 6.5 iron rock long arm and when i went to drive it for the first time it grinded and now every time it rotates it clicks very loud. Im not sure what i could have done wrong.....any idea's?

 

Did you install the main gear backwards?
Did you make sure all of the pads were on the mode and shift forks?
Oil pump correctly mounted on the outside of the case?

 

Did you swap a different input shaft in? The gear cut changed between years on the planetary assembly. Are the shift collars installed correctly?
