well a few questions...
what engine do you have? 4 banger? 4.0? 4.0HO? old v6?
what trans do you have? manual? auto?
a 4 banger with an auto would not work too well at all
the v6 would be a joke
the 4.0 with a manual would not be too bad, with an auto would be doggy
the 4.0HO would do ok with an manual and with an auto it would need to run in 3rd gear on the highway

4.10s with a 4.0 will be ok, better than 3.55 and 3.73 but not nearly as bad as people claim.
ideally you'll want 4.88's not 4.56

I'm gonna come back in and say the ONLY reason I would ever go 4.56 isntead of 4.88 would be if I planned on going from 35s to 33's and never going back to 35s.

i have been runnin my 35's on 4.56 gears for about 4 years now. seen alot of wheelin and highway driving. now if this rig will see any highway time, then 4.56 gears will be great for a manual, but an auto would benefit more from 4.88 due to the shorter first and second gear. now at times i wish i went 4.88 but the reason i didnt, is cause i still have the dana 30 up front and when you make that step up, you go from a 7 tooth pinion to a 6 tooth pinion, it makes the gears weaker and i didnt want to do that runnin 35 inch tires and detroit lockers. but about 90% of the time i am happy with my setup. the only time i use 4 hi though is in high speed runs, like mud and hill climbing, everywhere else i use 4 lo in first or second gear.

I have 4.10s /35x12s.. mine does good on everything, it is my dd and it works out great on the road because It shifts right at the speed limits so I save alot of gas that way...(I can cruise at 55/60 at 1200/1500 rpms) it is good offroad too and Ive never bogged down or anything like that. (then again I have arbs front and back and as much bolt on stuff for the engine as I could find).. I have never had a problem doing 75 and keeping it up hills and stuff...
