how to waterproof??

What all do I need to waterproof the xj to go underwater just in case, I plan on moving to Texas and theres lots of rivers on there trails so whats tthe best way to do so?? If you have smarta** comments dont bother posting.

If you pull the engine and all electrical components, cover them with a trash bag...reinstall the engine and all electrical components and you have yourself an amphibious xj..

From the factory it is water proof.
Have you ever seen your engine bay after riding around in storm?
Car manufacturers account for this. Look at any of your sensors. You should never see any exposed wires unless its a ground.
I would worry about the ecu and spark plug wires the most.
