I've installed something very similar on my old Chevy, I added small 12v fans to mine. If you don't get the result you want I would suggest that. Mine worked pretty good.

It wasn't too complicated, I just used computer case fans. I cut the holes in the hood the size of the fans and installed them on the under side of the hood, then put the cowls on the hood with the sticky tape. I has the fans hooked into the ignition, but you could also have them hooked to a switch.... I also put an inline fuse.

I cut my own with a jigsaw, spray painted grill mesh that i got from Home Depot (for keeping veggies and small stuff from falling through when cooking, and put door trim around the edges. Looks a little rough, but I've never cut sheet metal before. The whole thing ran me less than 30 dollars, blades for the saw included. You just pick the shape you want, measure twice, cut once. I taped it off so as not to scrape the paint.
