And where are you getting that these housing are telescopic? telescopic housings are for like Benz and Lexus's and Beamers. telescopic means that the light moves with the car and adjusts itself(at least I'm some cars it does). there's no way you can get these types of housings for an XJ.

well first off, the housing arent all that bad, light output is good and seem to be built decent.
Second you may want to look up what telescopic means....
Third you are right i got screwed. bastards. not a big deal i didnt drop tons of money on them or anything only 80 bucks for a set of HID's with new lamps and a relay harness that all works well other then the highs... not a bad deal....

I have a true projector setup for my 6000k HID's and I do not want to retrofit to get my high beams back, it's not worth it

consisting of parts that slide one within another like the tubes of a jointed telescope and are thus capable of being extended or shortened.
^means sliding forward and backward. not trying to be a dick just proving myself right.

that's not as bad as I thought it would be. it scatters a little bit towards the sides but really not that bad. how come they are pushed towards the center?

That's about 15' from the garage door (low beams). I believe the autopal (euro) housing have a more narrow beam than most. But on the street it's amazing how much they light up the lane in front of you!
