Does anyone have the HID headlight conversion?

If so...

How $$$$$
How do u like them
How long did it take u to install

$50...8000k, I love em, i used IPF housings, which are legit, which were $70..so all together about $120 took me about an hour to install

If you do go with HID Buy some good Projectors and Retrofit them into some H4 housings otherwise your beam pattern will look like **** an so will the cutoff an you will blind oncoming drivers

You're also going to need a new headlight harness.

Thank u all for your replys ...I am going to look into it...I want to swap them out next month...is their any full complete kits...that got it all the sealed lights the bulbs and the harness?

Also is their any brand I should stay away from

Looks good....so they pull lesspower or did u have to upgrade the alternator

Nah, they pull less power, but the harnesses run hotter, so upgrade the headlight pigtail to a high temp one, they're at autozone for like $6-$7 each..hid's don't like to work with the headlight delay on some xjs, like mine. You either have to click to on the brights when you park it, or unplug the delay relay, other wise they'll flicker. I unplugged my relay and they no longer flicker. Easy fix.

Best plug and play kit available is from NorCalMR2.com

I have their HID Projector kit and its amazing. The guy that runs the show is super helpful, I emailed with questions and he was very quick to help.

i have the kit with hi and low on my 90xj will sell you for 75$ it is plugin and go take bout 20 to 30mins to put on

Right. Most of the kits out there eliminate the high beam to run the hids. You can find them, but they are more $$. To be honest, once you have them you don't really need the high beams IMO...I have spot lights too, so the high beam is pretty much a non factor to me.
