Well, I was skeptical given the nature of HID's that I'm used to seeing around here (not projectors--ugh) but I have to say--that looks pretty darn cool. What's the scoop on the orange ring around the projector itself? Is that user-paintable, or will there be color options?

Colors optional for the 7x6 reflector (background) and the projector shroud. Standard is chrome or black. If custom colors are desired then you should provide a color code or part number for paint that can be found easily locally or else I will have to give my best judgement. Since the projectors are glued in and the lens sealed back on, repainting is not an option.

Shut up and take my money

But seriously these look awesome and I love the custom paint option. When I can spare the coin for new headlights I'll be placing an order

Would you be able to use a Putco wire harness with these lights? I have it with silver stars now

Sounds good.

Yes, the projector relay harness has a male plug that plugs in where the passenger sealed beam used to plug in. If you have modifed your harness beyond stock headlight plugs then it is easy enough to cut and splice the 3 wires and hard-wire the HID harness in.

Doesn't come with ballasts or anything? Or is everything included for install?

Awesome. How long will this upgrade be available? It is not a limited time thing is it?

I know most of us here have this on our list of upgrades, but probably not to buy right away.

If they sell well then we will keep them as a regular product.

Absolutely not. lol jk jk. The discount code does apply to all our products. I did kinda forget about it while calculating costs though. I will have to take a look at that later. But yes, feel free to use the discount.

The background comes in black right? Is that a matte black or gloss?
