Have you tried heating them up?

Get as big of a breaker bar you can get and give them hell. I had trouble with mine. One started pushing the sleeve out and deformed mine shackle box and I had to cut it our anyways. The other side came right out.

Take some PB blaster- Spray it down- let it sit for a minute- Wipe of excess- Take Butane/propane torch and heat the bolt up. Try to loosen- If not, let it cool and repeat as needed. Eventually the slight expanding/contracting will loosen it up for you

If you have a leaky gas tank (obviously very unlikely) I probably would not try the torch You can also try a hammer drill if you have one to break up the rust if that's what is holding it. Heating it up almost always works for me though.

I used an impact wrench. I heated it up with a small butane torch, sprayed a bunch of kroil / PB in there, waited a few seconds then tried to tighten the bolt a bit. I think UN: salad recommended this. It will help break up the rust without breaking the bolt. I did this back and forth with the impact wrench for 5-10 minutes until I thought the neighbors might kill me. Let it sit, some more PB and then it came out. I had to cut my lower shacke/spring bolt but that one wasn't a big deal.

Are you trying this with the jeep on stands or on the ground?

I've had better luck "breaking" them with tires on the ground. Less weight holding then in place

^^ Good advice. My right side gave me more trouble cause I had it jacked up. I put the other side on the ground and they all came out smoothly.

Well, we're gonna let it soak with pb blaster for a day and then tomarrow get a breaker bar and hope like hell the bolt won't break in the frame! Has that happened to anybody else? It's the top bolt for the shackle
