Going to order some new steelies for my XJ. Which design do you think looks best D-window in black or round hole in black Probably going with the Summit Series 85 because of price and 7" wide because this XJ will never have bigger than a 31. Comments are appreciated

I have the soft 8s on the XJ and the D windows on the TJ

I've got D Windows on my rig, but I've also got a set of soft 8's waiting for some rubber. I like the soft 8 style better, I'd get black MT Alcoa's if they weren't so expensive.

Even with the 31"'s you might want to give more thought to an 8" wheel. My guess they are 31x10:50x15's then I would use an 8". If you would change your mind in the future you could go to a larger tire with the 8"'er. A 7" wheel is the same size as stock so you might as well keep them and save some coin.

I have Cragar Soft Eights 15x8" with 3 3/4" BS. My son liked mine so he bought the Jegs ones that just like them only with a 4"BS as they don't come in a 3 3/4". If you look Summit and Jegs are about the same price and look to be the same wheel.

Myself I like the holes over the D's on the black wheels.
