Default HELP! Frame broke

It cracked right around the steering box anyone ever had experiance in fixing this I've got a mig and some plate laying around, think it would be alright just to burn some steel together ? Suggestions ?

Yes it is possible. There are threads here with solutions to your problem. I'd help with links but I'm on my iPhone and it's not as easy.

id try an close the gap as much as i could with sum bending and weld the crack. then grind that down and weld sum 3/16ths plate over that

I'm gonna bevel the edges then use a come along to suck it back together buzz a bead and then I've got two pieces of quarter inch plate from a rusty's long arm kit that bolt the crossmember up to the frame I believe the contours close so I was thinking of welding and bolting it over the crack it's not completly like cracked in half about half of it's still holding but you can def feel it moving. I only wanna have to deal with this problem once I'm hoping it'll be strong

Well she's fixed ) and she ain't never gonna do that again, prob around 20 lbs of steel and half a roll o wire later but she's stiff and I'm happy hahah
