Default Headlight Flasher/Wigwag

I have a headlight flasher unit I bought and have no idea on how to install it. I was debating on installing it in my headlights or my foglights that are on my bumper. If anyone could help it is greatly appreciated.

This wont help at all but If I were you I would not install wig wags because of how much it will wear down your high beams and fog lights are not even close to effective. I Went with Grill/Dash lights and strobes in the amber lights as the headlights are glass and the ambers are made of ABS. IMO-Rob I hate messing with important factory wiring that you actually depend on.

Geez, I had wig-wag headlights on all 6 of my towtrucks and didn't have that experience. They were so effective that traffic passing by an accident scene would stop and ***** to the cops.......

That's a very good question. Myself, I found them entertaining when rolling up behind friends at night, who I knew had been drinking, and turning them on.

You should check with your local 5-0 first. I am personally still paying on a $1000 fine for having a wig wag set up in my project car. It was totalled in a head on collision with a dumb teen texting and driving his daddys nice pick up. When the cops showed up the were taking pics of the scene and saw my wig wag switch...bam big *** fine for me.

Check on the Whelen or code3 web sites. They have wigwag instructions that should be good enough...

They make different ones such as soils state ground, solid state power etc etc. I'm not sure which one work for the xj though. My point being, the one you have may not work.
