What cant be seen in the pictures is how the light actually projects. Notice on hi beam when comparing to the hid, the truck lite still has a defined cut off while the hid just throws light everywhere. In front of a garage door, it does appear that all the light is focused on one spot. Where you notice the difference is when your actually out driving. Maybe there not for everyone, but i would rather drive around with leds and not get pulled over every 10 minutes like you would with hids. Tomorrow night, if i remember, ill take some pictures using a truck at work that i know the headlights are aimed properly.
Most Chinese knock of stuff is. True HIR 9011/9022 bulbs were 70-90% brighter. Seeing as you can't even buy a HIR (Halogen Infrared Reflective) bulbs any more I was surprised to see them mentioned. Anyway back on topic. This is the thread that turned me off of the TL. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/ju...ex8/?styleid=6

I can't account for other peoples experience, mine has been different. All of mine, and those that I've installed for others have been quite yellow, but not horrifically so. Also are not lacking in the brightness catagory, though I always run higher wattage bulbs with relays. I've been pulled over a couple times for mine. I have these in a couple of my cars currently, not in the jeep though.

I expected a lot better for that price. Now if they were $150 for the set. That would be fine. Also I will let you know the first time I get pulled over 10 time in one night for my hids. I have never even been flashed. I'm running 4300k bulbs. They are easier on the eyes so maybe that helps.

Any H4 bulb that claims 55w = 85w is a lie.

I tried a set of those a long time ago on a 89 S-10 blazer and it almost caught my headlight switch on fire.

As for the Zeus I don't of anyone that has posted pic yet. There is a guy that just ordered some Hella E codes to go with his so pics should come soon.
Yes, was a 98, I think that was 5 or 6 years ago. The housings were 9005/9006 hence the modification to latch into the housing.

I am using them in a hella housing, don't have any pictures but the distance on them pretty much sucks and the high beams are a joke to say the least. Hope this helps!
