Default Anyone do the H4 harness upgrade with....LEDs?

Who has done the harness upgrade then installed LED headlights instead of H4 stuff, and then were able to compare the LEDs to H4 upgraded lights? Or who has knowledge of LED light output compared to H4, with both on an upgraded harness? Just want to know if H4 housings and bulbs are better or if LED headlights are better with the new harness. Yes, I've read A LOT on this but can't find a definitive answer or opinion with proof.

No one has installed an upgraded H4 harness then used LED housings (i.e. Truck-Lite) instead of new H4 housings and bulbs? Just trying to figure out what is brighter in the end (without blinding people) with a new harness.....

I have the harness with H4s and 100/80w bulbs on my jeep. I have an XJ in my garage now that I am working on that has LED headlights with the stock harness, I can get some comparison pictures of thats what you want.

That would be cool....
I'm also wondering if the upgrade harness makes a difference with LED since the LED have a lot less power draw....... I guess that's really my question...

Upgraded wiring harness with h4s and Hella 80/100w bulbs on the left, stock harness with leds on the right. Low beams then high beams.

Over a short distance leds on the left, low and high beams.

Something to consider if you live where it snows. The heat output on the LEDs might not be enough to melt the snow from the headlights.

Yeah I've seen that....... I have an 8 mile drive to work.... And wouldnt be using my Jeep for long trips in the snow, that I plan. That's for the wife's Durango. This is pretty much just my to and from work and trips camping and a little wheeling vehicle...

You can get LED headlights with heat traces on them if ice/snow is a concern. LEDs may not draw a lot of current but they are voltage sensitive. You should see some kind of performance increase even with LEDs on a wiring upgrade.

Also leds reflect off of everything way more than halogen lights do, anyone who has ever driven in a snow storm with leds will know what I'm talking about.

So you're saying it'll be harder to see through the falling snow with LEDs?
