So a while ago I bought an XJ with blown motor and what I beleive to be a 4.5" Rubicon express lift on it. I swapped the lift over to my current '98 XJ. Now Ive never know forsure how much lift it has, so Im on the hunt to solve this mystery...

Im running 33" BFG MT's, so if one of you also has BFG's with your 4.5" that would make this even more accurate. Now I know tire pressure, leaf sag etc plays a factor in this, but Im not running stock flares so I didnt do the center of wheel - flare measurement.

Anyways, here's a pic of the pass rear door on my '98. Bottom of the door is a shy 26.5" measure from the ground.

Anyone care to have a measure on theirs and tell me what they come up with?

 

Someone with a 4.5" want to do a quick measure on their rig?! curiosity has got me....lol.

 

. Got three inches and 33's I'm at 22.5 in the same place but my rear leafs are shot I'd say 4.5 is right

 

I have a 99 with 4.5" RE lift and 33" Mickey Thompson Mt's and I also have a shy 26.5" to the bottom of the door.

 

Either of you have shackles

Dubblej any chance I could get you to measure them for me trying to build a shackle relocation box and shackles just need a rough start point . Thanks a bunch if you can , no worrys if not

Hmmm, I thought the 4.5" RE kit came with a leaf and shackle?

 

Supposed to come with a aal and block. $$$ gets what you want.

 

Yea, the 4.5" 6111 RE kit is the block and AAL, and the 4.5" 6130 is the leaf and shackle kit for more $$.
I was just confused cause the 6130 kit comes with leaf/shackle...but Im guessing you upgraded to the leaf pack that comes with the 5.5" (which is 4.5" of lift) kit and opted to keep your stock shackles...?
