Good daily driver locker for the money?

Whats the best locker for my 29 spline chrysler 8.25? One thats under 500 dollars and doesnt make too much noise on road

I think the only option in that price range is going to be the PowerTrax No-Slip which is around $450

if ur not locked up front i would do that instead of the rear spartan makes a great locker for a dana 30 price is around $300

x2 on waiting on the rear and adding locker up front. It will be hardly noticeable and will no even engage unless your in 4x4, when you might actually need it.

If live in a state with snow gotta be careful locking the front up and driving in 4wd

why u say that we're not tell him to lincoln lock it...u can still turn with a lunch box locker

If hes got a vac disco he can lincoln lock the d30 and make a simple posilock to disengage the axle when not in 4x4.

The clutches inside a lunchbox locker allow the wheels to turn at different speeds hence why you will hear a "ratcheting" noise while turning. A "lincoln" locker is where you weld the spider gears inside the differential, creating your own locker. Essentially, it's a spool and once it's welded there is no going back.
