so pretty soon im guna be getting a D44 rear out of an 87 XJ. im going to put new gears (4.10) in it along with the front D30. on Superior's website, D44 R&P is 4.11 and there front D30 R&P is 4.10. just want to make sure, will that 0.01 affect anything, or do they have to be EXACTLY the same?

You're good. Since you won't be using it on pavement the wheels will slip a little enough to make it fine. Although I think the actual R&P tooth counts are the same, just rounded differently for the two, no?

4.10-4.11 won't have any effect on/off road.

I should have been more specific. Since you won't be using 4we on pavement. But either way you're good.

37/9 teeth
41/10 teeth.

I'd assume you'd be fine since you prolly won't be driving in 4wd at high speeds.

Why 4.10's? Dont those come standard in the xj D44? IF your planning of anything bigger in terms of rubber anytime in the future you might as well go with 4.56's or deeper

Only on 4 cylinder XJs. And 4.10s are good gears, I run them.
