Oh okay I didn't realize that you supplied a longer bolt to retain the stock shackle hole. These seem pretty good, you might be getting my money in the coming months!
I read somewhere else that you are going to be making nut strips with the kit os that still true? I do have the factory hitch so would I need a new nut strip or I believe I have a factory one up there.. I couldn't find a clear amswer in my research. Thanks

What would you guys rather see offered with our Shackle Relocation Kits? Nut Strips or Bolt Strips?
Nut Strip pro - If the installer needs a longer 1/2" bolt than supplied then they can easily go to the hardware store and buy a longer bolt for their application.
Bolt Strip pro - ALOT EASIER to line up all your components and bolt them in since you wont have to shine a flash light up into a hole to make sure the nut is lined up.

I don't see how the hitch can be re-installed? Is the shackle box sandwiched between the frame and the hitch? And do I need nut strips if my stuff is rust free? I'm in Az and everything is like new under there.

Thanks for responding Barrelmaker. He is correct. To get an idea if you need new nut strips maybe take a breaker bar down there real quick and try to bust the hitch loose. If the bolts come out easily then you might be fine.

Is it looking like you will have the shackle boxes in stock on Monday?

Kris - the small bolts that go into the unibody (not the nutstrip bolts) appears to be a different thread pitch that what is supposed to go in there. The shackle bolt came out fine and is factory.
