The plan was to simply reattach my sway bar disco style using 7/8" celvis pins. Easy. But it quickly got more complicated. Removing the old pins took some work.. Until we realized that cutting the bolt to about a 1/2" length and backing it out with a ball joint puller was way easier. So then I had to reattach the sway bar brackets. I guess I grabbed the wrong bolt because it snapped the weld nut inside the frame rail clean off. So I pulled bumper so I could get a hold of said nut, only to discover the steering box is in the way. So out came the cutting wheel again... At this point I was 4 hours in and decided that I'd deal with it later... Pic one is where old sway bar end link bolt was. Pic two is with bumper off looking into frame rail- you can see the metal plate that is part of steering box. Pic three is sway bar mount bracket with weld nut broke off and stuck on end of bolt... Pic four is my classy vac ball relocate and five is pretty self explanatory.
Well... Enjoy the upside down pics... Really ****in cool it keeps doin that... Really awesome.... Really...
