Would this fit my front Xj? I'm on a 6.5" lift

 

I think the later model zj 96-98 4.0 had the longer front shafts. There is a chart somewhere

 

Measure your distance at ride height, measure the new driveshaft at that length. Does it extend/collapse enough? IF so, then it will fit. There are several different lengths tho.

 

If you end up having to buy a new shaft I found a good shaft on eBay. The seller is Oliver's Driveline Shop I ordered one and it is a nice driveshaft ready to go. The total cost shipped to me was $210 and I had it in less than 5 days, good service also.

 

No bad for rebuilt custom . Cost me 175.00 for rebuilt custom .

 

I found it the day that I bought the SYE for $129 was just looking around and came across it the shipping was $25 of the $210 was yours shipped for $175?

 

Incorrect. it's the 93-95 5.2l v8 that has the longer front drive shaft. the 4.0s range from the same to about 1 inch or so longer than an xj front shaft.

I pulled one from a 95 limited with a 5.2 and it's about mid-way extended for me on about 7.5"-8" of lift
