Default Front wheels "bouncing?" When making hard turns

Sorry for the description.. But it seems like that's what the front wheels on my 88 cherokee 4 inch lift with 33 tires seems to do when I make any sharp turns. It seems like they are not making complete contact with the ground. It doesn't pull to either side while driving straight, a little back and forth with the steering wheel but not bad, and at higher speeds..40-45mph it actually handles better. Any ideas anyone can shoot my way? I didn't do the lift and I haven't done an alignment yet. Could this possibly be the cause? Thanks!!

It sounds like your front diff might have a spool, or could be welded and the PO changed the 2 piece shaft on the passenger side to a one piece shaft. I would do an alignment and pull the front diff cover too and have a look inside.

Maybe it's stuck in 4wd?

Deos the steering wheel return to center by itself after you make a turn? It sounds to me like the alignment is off.

Backspacing on your wheels? Does it bounce while turning sharply?

It could be the tires are hitting the lower control arm. I asked about the backspacing on the wheels because stock wheels are about 5.5". While driving at higher speeds, you're not going to be turning that sharply. In order to fix the problem, you would need wheels with less backspacing (or use washers on bolts near the back of the wheel to prevent turning as sharply. You need to do a search on the subject.)

I have the same problem; stock wheels with 3" lift and 31" tires.

Any noises? Axle ujoints can cause this when they are shot.
If you have it locked in the front it will also do this.
Could be hitting the arm- just take a peak! Paint will be rubbed off.
